Report

Colts started the game with ten men due to Bartlett turning up late for the second time this season, Lane was dropped into midfield and N.Parker partnered Hufford upfront. Colts were missing several players Liversidge, Rhodes Winsor, Mullen, Bennett and Mcguiness. Wisker helped Colts out by playing at the less familair right back role and Chris Thompson came in to support him on the right side of midfield. The other change was Jones lining up with Lane in the middle of midfield.

The game started poorly and after a few mins Colts found themselves behind after a shot from the right was deflected past the helpless Lee. The stand in Pro Cladd keeper was looking suspect on crosses and it was no suprise when Freeman put one on him from a corner that he didnt deal with it properly and Barlett was in the right place to convert from close range.

Colts scored against the run of play when Hufford first disposesed the covering defender before running across him and sliding the ball in at the near post after Parker had attempted to hook the ball down the line to him.

Colts went into the half time break with a lead but there wasnt much between the two sides.

Disaster struck for Colts early on in the second half when Bartlett got caught in possesion in his area where he was robbed by the Procladd player who finished well past Lee.

Colts took the lead again through Lane after he headed a powerful header past the keeper following a great Freeman corner.

Colts were beginning to look tired and were soon undone when Procladds fresh centre back picked up the ball with enough time and space to rifle the ball into the top corner.

Procladd went looking all three points, and it took a great save from Lee to deny them after he reacted brilliantly to tip a volley over. A header off the line by Pallister further denied them which looked a to be a certain goal.

Unfortunately the reprieve was to be short lived as Procladd did finally take though all three points following a volley from the edge of the area which seemed to catch Lee unsighted as the ball ended up down the middle of the goal.
