Colts started their County Cup run against Hatfield based team Hogshead who included John Carew in their starting lineup. Colts got off to the best of starts when Liversidge launched a long throw into the area and Josh Bartlett was waiting completly un marked to nod home and put Colts ahead in the first 5mins.

Bartlett then turned villian when he was ajudged to of pushed his opponent in the area. The Hogshead player stepped up and equalised from the spot. A few minutes later and the game had been turned around. Lee was beaten by a long distance shot which seemed to take a nasty bounce before finding the bottom corner. Colts went into half time on the back foot and knew they needed more.

Hufford pushed Freeman upfront with Lane and this soon paid dividends when defender Hufford executed a great long field pass to Freeman who controlled the ball on his chest and lobbed the ball over the advancing keepers head.

Freeman added to his tally when another long ball from defence this time by Jack Rhodes Winsor again found Freeman's run who took the ball on his knee before volleying low past the keeper from 20yds.

Freeman soon grabbed his hatrick when he picked up a ball from Mullen just inside the Hosghead half, Freeman ran at the defence where he managed to beat 3 players all trying desperately to foul or at least tackle him however he managed to get in the area and finish from close range after the keeper stayed routed to his line.
